LOS ANGELES — Whitney
Houston, who ruled as pop music's queen until her majestic voice and
regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a tumultuous
marriage to singer Bobby Brown, died Saturday. She was 48.
A coroner's van leaves the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles,
California, this morning where Whitney Houston was found dead. She is
said to have 'drowned in the bathtub'
The hotel: Whitney Houston was found dead in a
bathroom similar to the one on the right, on the fourth floor of the
Beverley Hilton Hotel. The hall on the left is where police and
emergency workers gathered following the news of the dead star.
